Amy Terlisner, NMD – Naturopathic Physician

Amy Elizabeth Terlisner, NMD (affectionately called Dr. T by the ALETRIS team and patients) attended the University of Georgia in Athens, GA, where she obtained a BS in Holistic Medicine, a degree she customized for her later studies in naturopathic medicine. She graduated suma cum laude, with Highest Honors, and published an undergraduate thesis in health psychology.

Dr. Terlisner then attended Bastyr University in Seattle, WA, one of the nation’s most prestigious naturopathic medical schools. She served as former president on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association and is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians.

Dr. Amy Terlisner has an extensive teaching background, which she firmly believes is an important element in naturopathic medicine. She has taught biology, anatomy, clinical laboratory diagnosis, physical exam diagnosis, pharmacognosy at Emperor’s College (Santa Monica, California), and manipulation at the doctorate level. She currently teaches nursing students at Paradise Valley Community College. Her specialties include: women’s health, cardiovascular disease, gastroenterology, autoimmune disease, preventative and longevity medicine, and natural hormone replacement therapy.

Carissa Abe, DC – Chiropractic Physician

Dr. Carissa Abe is herself a true chiropractic success story. After being recruited to Arizona State University’s swim team, she suffered injuries for over two years until finally coming across a sports medicine chiropractor who eliminated her pain in a single chiropractic treatment. Dr. Abe went on to finish her collegiate swimming career as one of ASU’s All- Americans.

After graduating from ASU with a BS in Kinesiology, Dr. Abe enrolled in chiropractic school at the Southern California University of Health Sciences. Her love of chiropractic medicine grew deeper as she worked alongside several successful chiropractors and traveled across the US to represent her school. Dr. Abe graduated from SCU with honors and received the President’s Leadership Award for her class.

Dr. Abe specializes in Diversified Chiropractic Adjustments, Active Release Technique©, Graston Technique©, Kinesio taping©, Sports Medicine, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics. She Board Certified in Chiropractic and Board Certified in Physiotherapy. She is licensed in both California and Arizona.

Dr. Abe enjoys hiking, boxing, cycling, swimming, working out and spending time with family and friends. She is a devoted ASU Sundevil fan and still attends her annual ASU Alumni swim meets. Originally from Southern California, she loves the beach, college football, traveling, and music.

 


George

George “Yongzhi” Pan – Licensed Acupuncturist

George “Yongzhi” Pan, L. Ac., is a board certified Acupuncturist in the state of Arizona. He received his master’s degree from Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture in Arizona. George was born and raised in China where Chinese medicine has flourished for thousands of years. Fascinated by the wellness philosophy behind Chinese medicine, George studied numerous books including those from ancient China, from which he gained a profound understanding of the medicine.

George has also been practicing Tai-ji, Qi-gong, and meditation since he was young boy and believes deeply in self-care, energy rejuvenation, and the importance of live in harmony with nature and the universe. George is a highly motivated practitioner with a passion for helping others and a holistic approach to healing spirit, mind, and body.
