Amy Terlisner, NMD
Dr. Amy Elizabeth Terlisner attended the University of Georgia in Athens, GA, where she obtained a BS in Holistic Medicine, a degree she customized for her later studies in naturopathic medicine. She graduated suma cum laude, with Highest Honors, and published an undergraduate thesis in health psychology.
Dr. Terlisner then attended Bastyr University in Seattle, WA, one of the nation's most prestigious naturopathic medical schools. During her studies, she trained with physicians at Highline Cancer Center and Seattle Healing Arts Center .
Dr. Terlisner also has an extensive teaching background which she believes is an important element in naturopathic medicine. She has taught biology, anatomy, clinical laboratory diagnosis, physical exam diagnosis, and manipulation at the doctorate level. She currently teaches Pharmacognosy to doctoral students at Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica, California. Her specialties include: women's health, cardiovascular disease, gastroenterology, preventative and longevity medicine, and natural hormone replacement therapy.
